Aviator Academy Open House took place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday November 12 - 14, 2010 at its new location Hangar B.

Our lovely airplanes got named on Sunday morning. Our special guest Consul General of Czech Republic in Canada Mgr. Richard Krpac participated our celebration and christened our airplanes.

Our student Gilles Boisvenu won the first flight with Sunfairy and our student Ryan Wood-Gaines won the first flight with Windfairy.

All pilots attending our presentation at the Edenvale Aerodrome either

October 24, 2010 (Radio Communication Course) or November 27, 2010 (Winter Flying Course)

will have met the recency requirements of CARs 421.05(2)(c). Aviator Academy's presentations are both approved by Transport Canada for that purpose.

George Czerny’s story about his experience with Aviator Academy has been published in The Enterprise - Bulletin on Friday July 9, 2010 and in the COPA Flight NOVEMBER 2010.

Aviator Academy has a flight training program for applicants outside Ontario.

 

This program includes Ground School, Radio Operator Certificate, Flight Training, and accommodation.

Let it be known that on February 23, 2011 Tia nukiwuak (instructor Bob Pesta) without disruption of air traffic, this fearless, forthright, indomitable and courageous individual did venture into the wild blue yonder in a flying machine. Furthermore, this skillful individual did safely land said flying machine at Edenvale Aerodrome incurring no significant damage to self or machine.

 

Thus completing a first solo flight!
